The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
